Benedicta Attoh

Benedicta Attoh is the founder of Dreamworld Leadership Initiative for Girls.

She is an Executive and Life Coach, Trainer, Facilitator, Motivational Speaker and an Independent Consultant in diversity management. She worked with the DePaul Trust and Simon Community; both organisations are working to end homelessness in Ireland.


She also worked with the National Consultative Committee on Racism & Interculturalism (NCCRI) as Development & Awareness Officer in Ireland where she was involved in initiatives aimed at raising awareness of cultural diversity, training members of the Gardai (Irish Police), staff of public, and private sectors as well as community & voluntary sector.

She was former Chairperson of the Board of the Africa Centre and currently the Public Relations Officer of the Louth African Women’s Support Group.  She is the Founder/Chairperson, Women in Leadership Network, and was former Director of the Refugee Information Service all in Ireland.  She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Ireland.

Benedicta was born in Ughelli in the Niger\Delta of Nigeria and as a former child bride, she is determined to ensure no young girl goes through what she experienced as a child.  She is passionate about supporting girls to acquire education and training in order to help them achieve their optimum in life.

She is a member of several boards and has been nominated and received several awards for her intercultural work including the Rehab/Louth person of the year 2007, the Edmund Rice’s award for achievement (2008), Social Entrepreneurs Ireland award 2009 for her leadership work with women in Ireland and the Bold and Beautiful award for Excellence and Achievement (2009).
